WHAT IS 6DOF?
6DOF is short for Six Degrees of Freedom.

Six degrees of freedom (6DOF) refers to the ability to change position in three lateral directions and three rotational directions:

Tx - forward/back (surge)

Ty - left/right (sway)

Tz - up/down (heave)

Rx - tilt sideways (roll)

Ry - tilt forward/backward (pitch)

Rz - turn left/right (yaw)

For racing this means the system can reproduce not only haptics such as road surface and bumps, but also acceleration-, braking-, and cornering- forces, over- and understeer, tracking loss, slip and even collisions. Feel how nervous the car becomes on wet circuit!
