Edge 6D is a 6DOF motion simulator designed to be compact enough to be suitable for use in a range of environments, whether that be home, business or leisure, and versatile enough to be used for a variety of motion simulation activities.
FULL 6DOF MOTION SIMULATION
Edge 6D is a full motion simulator that is capable of producing all six movements (6DOF), similar to multi-million simulators used in aviation and motor sports, including collision, drift and bumps. (See below for more information.)
SERIOUS GAMING VERSATILITY
Edge 6D supports all high fidelity game titles, including the most realistic race and flight simulations, interfaces for custom developments and serious gaming (e.g. military). It can be mounted with most commercial game controls, monitors and VR headsets.
The Edge 6D system runs plug-and-play with the leading games. No motion software required: just run the game and hold tight!
As it is a 6DOF system, Edge 6D can replicate the movements of most other simulation systems (e.g. DBOX), simply by selecting one of the presets. With Edge 6D you get the best of the market integrated in one machine!
The Edge 6D supports many interfaces including leading games, motion adapter software, custom and even military applications. If tuning is not for you, just dial the knob on the dashboard and adjust motion intensity during game-play!
Movements are controlled by the Edge 6D internal micro-controller. Motion is therefore always smooth and accurate, independent of PC/PS4/Xbox performance.
Edge 6D is extremely powerful, yet operates directly from a regular electricity socket (Europe and USA).
Edge 6D motion base has an ultra small stationary (78 x 94 cm) and dynamic (108 x 124 cm) footprint, such that it can be placed in even the smallest rooms.
Edge 6D is supremely silent in operation due to advanced electronics: no fan noise and special 'stealth mode' for fragile and noisy buildings.
WHAT IS 6DOF?
6DOF is short for Six Degrees of Freedom.
Six degrees of freedom (6DOF) refers to the ability to change position in three lateral directions and three rotational directions:
