Edge 6D is a 6DOF motion simulator designed to be compact enough to be suitable for use in a range of environments, whether that be home, business or leisure, and versatile enough to be used for a variety of motion simulation activities.
FULL 6DOF MOTION SIMULATION
Edge 6D is a full motion simulator that is capable of producing all six movements (6DOF), similar to professional simulators in aviation and motor sports, including collision, drift and bumps.
SERIOUS GAMING VERSATILITY
Edge 6D supports all high fidelity game titles, including the most realistic race and flight simulations, interfaces for custom developments and serious gaming (e.g. military). It can be mounted with most commercial game controls, monitors and VR headsets.
Edge 6D is extremely powerful, yet operates from a regular electricity socket (European and USA).
Edge 6D is supremely silent in operation: no fan noise and special 'stealth mode' for fragile and noisy buildings.
Edge 6D motion base has a small stationary (78 x 94 cm) and dynamic (108 x 124 cm) footprint, such that it can be placed in even the smallest rooms.
The intensity of the movements can be dynamically adjusted by the user, even during the ride, simply by adjusting the volume knob.
WHAT IS 6DOF?
6DOF is short for Six Degrees of Freedom.
Six degrees of freedom (6DOF) refers to the ability to change position in three lateral directions and three rotational directions:
